Perhaps we have set many plans and goals to achieve our own goal. We spend a lot of time planning and spending money to make it happen. However, it seems that searching for a goal is very difficult these days. Many times I have failed to achieve my goal. I change many hobbies, passions, and goals along the way and never follow one thing constantly. I've planned many times, and I still haven't found any significant progress, although there has been some progress. I'm still not tied to my goal. At first, I was making great progress in what I was working on. For example, I tried playing music, dancing, and proficiency in games, but everything ended up being nothing. I change ways and start achieving new goals again and again. I wasn't consistent and committed enough to what I wanted to achieve. I thought I needed to find a passion or other goal that I find interesting enough for me or feel connected to myself.

Then I found out that the main problem I am having is actually focusing. I don't focus enough to commit to one thing at a time. I have tried many things and chased different things without focus or commitment. I don't find myself committed and focus on building myself for one purpose. There are many golden objects along the way, and I tried to chase them all. I disagree with what I chose and disappoint many of my friends along the way. I tried to explain to my friends why I decided to stop dancing, playing music or playing games, but it was all just a disappointment to my friends and other people. Now, I lack not only focus, but also commitment.
Now, instead of focusing on the golden things along the way, I'm starting to look inward. I focus on writing and reading to improve my life and try to be consistent with it. I write and try to help people through my experience and learning. I hope I can help people avoid the failures I face and quickly achieve success in their lives. The things I have to learn and face are of course uncomfortable to live in. I sometimes think about how I would be if I tried to commit to one thing at that time. I imagine myself ending up in a different scenario and becoming a different person in the future. This is what we call regret. Regret is where you know you can do it, but you don't, and it's too late. We seek comfortable choices and avoid things that make us stronger or jump forward outside our comfort zone. Looking back, we may hope to choose better options than comfortable ones, making us vulnerable. So, to avoid regrets, you need to know what things you are striving to achieve now.
You need to know what you aim for or what you really want to do right now. Sometimes, we avoid doing what we really want to do and end up blinding it. This makes us blind to our purpose and prevents us from finding great happiness in life. When we have to do something we don't like, even though there are good reasons to do so, we are more prone to stress and depression. You know what happens if we feel stressed and depressed sometimes, right? We run away. Escape by doing bad habits such as drinking, smoking, drugs, etc. So, start with what you want to do. Now that we know what you want to do, we now need to know what to do now.
You have to know what you are suffering from now. If we don't know what we have or what we are doing now, we will end up adding new goals. This is to prevent you from adding another set of actions that may lead to exhaustion and loss of your sense of purpose. For example, you might be in college and trying to focus on finishing it. You may have responsibilities in your job, and you can't avoid them in order to get money to eat. Awareness is the first step in focusing on what we want to aim for. Whenever you know what you're aiming for and what you have now, you can now decide and control it.
This is where you need to know if you want to control things or decide to let go. I decided not to continue joining my organization and tried to control my writing routine. It all started with awareness of these things. I too was a college student and I need to focus on my studies. This is where I need to control it too. However, you have the right to decide whether you want to stay at your workplace or not. If it negatively affects you, it is best to carefully decide whether to leave this job or not. So, in step 3, focus on separating these elements. Find one thing you want to do and focus on it without disturbing or adding too much work to the things you have to do or your responsibilities. You can add new things, keep doing what you're doing, or remove things. It's your choice to do it, and you know yourself better and what's best for you. The key is that you may lack focus, which is what you do now or what you decide. You know what you really want, but you didn't realize what you had and you didn't have enough focus to follow. You don't need more planning or dream goals. You just need to focus on where you are now, what you choose, and whether you control what you have now. So, start with awareness, which focuses on where you are now. Then control what you want to get along the way and decide whether to go on or start your new hobbies or interests or whether or not to leave them.
